About Tony Thelander
Tony is Practice Sale Search’s Senior Consultant. He practiced as a vet for more than 35 years, during which time he completed an MBA and attained his FAICD. In 2003 Tony joined Valuvet and became Principal and Director four years later, after retiring from full-time clinical practice. He now works primarily as a veterinary business consultant, performing valuations and on-site assessments, as well as advising veterinary practices on how changes in the running of their business can lead to an increase in the value of their business.
Tony has served in executive positions at Branch and Division level of the AVA, as well as the ASAVA. He was an inspector for the ASAVA Hospital Accreditation Scheme for 10 years, a director of Provet for 24 years, and is currently tour director for the AVAPM Hospital Insights Tours. He brings invaluable skills to Practice Sale Search, giving clients the added benefit of a consultant who has both owned, sold and advised veterinary practices.
