Tony Thelander appraised our practice mainly for the purpose of the sale of a share of the business. His approach was extremely professional and thorough, itemizing and valuing stock, equipment, fittings and goodwill. All were clearly documented and precise, so that a value acceptable to both sides was arrived at without argument. Further, suggestions made to improve the business were made. These increased the value of the business immediately.
The transaction reinforces my contention that a practice must be evaluated by an independent such as Valuvet, as the respected brand ensures acceptance by both sides.
